Wedding in details
Weddings…
A topic in itself. And I actually got into them thanks to photographing horses.
I can really go wild here... because weddings are full of interesting details, moments and emotions. I'm actually everywhere and nowhere at the same time. I can crawl into a corner and take photos without anyone knowing about me. I can be in the middle of the action, laugh with the wedding guests, discuss and calmly discuss the immortality of the cockroach. 😅 And when there are too many people around me, I hide again and, unseen and unheard, I take photos of the happiest moments from the wedding.
It's actually a whole-day reportage full of energy, good mood, good food and drink. A wedding is something that, so to speak, takes photos of itself. Even though a ceremony outdoors at noon can be quite a challenge, the smiles of the wedding guests, the bride and the groom more than make up for it.
And I probably haven't photographed a wedding yet where I didn't sneak in some detail or a black and white photo. It's just part of it. Sometimes it's a detail of the rings, the flowers, or a simple look between two people that says more than a whole group photo. But that's also necessary. Years later, you sometimes wonder who all was actually at that wedding.
